Ruby Assembly’s networking organisation Serious Women’s Business Northside is now in its fourth year, with over 500 members in our diverse community of female, Melbourne-based entrepreneurs.
Last week we collaborated with East Brunswick Village to host a SWB Live event at their Nicholson Street display suite, where champagne flowed, delicious modern Egyptian catering was plentiful, and our surrounds were rich with art and culture – there was plenty of opportunity for connection and networking prior to our mentoring event.
The mentor panel featured three entrepreneurs: Karan White of Saxton Engage / Power Pets x Power People Agency, Clara Santaera of RICCI Coffee and Bree Dunbar, Photographer. Each of these women are at different stages in their business journey – from being in relative start-up through to having recently joined their concern to a large corporate business. During an hour’s discussion hosted by Ruby Assembly’s Iolanthe Gabrie, conversation was various: abundance and money management through to business challenges and myths versus the reality of being an entrepreneur.
If you’re a female business owner (or simply considering developing a side-hustle) in Melbourne’s north, feel free to join Serious Women’s Business: Northside here.
