Today’s post is dedicated to a wonderful Ruby Assembly sista – Ellana Katos – who has undertaken an internship programme with my business and is now going on to begin her career in PR and events. I am blessed in having had many wonderful extended members of ‘Team Ruby Assembly’, and it is always happy-sad when they leave our shores for new adventures. Ellana has taken many of the images of me over the past six months – some of the best I’ve had snapped. I’m sure that the photos she takes of me have an honest, fun and energetic quality because of our great friendship. These are the last photos taken of me by Ellana during her internship.

Ellana – we’ll miss your honking wonderful laughter, excellent (and authentic!) imitations of Seinfeld characters and Mike Myers grannies, your generosity of spirit, encyclopaedic knowledge of The Sopranos, your long black coffees with Nutrasweet and your great work. Follow Ellana on her adventures to come on Instagram @ellanakat.

This is my take on ‘normcore’ – a 90’s trend with a barely-there color palette in chambray and white. I’ve added black leather and oxblood heels. Style notes: Country Road pinafore, Big W jacket and shoes.

How cute is this piece of tech-junk-gorgeousness? A Moschino ‘Violetta the Rabbit’ iPhone cover. Occasionally, ‘farshun’ even happens to me!

Ellana (centre) and Team Ruby Assembly on our way back from a ‘ciao ciao Ellana’ dumpling luncheon. The girls got inked with the Ruby Assembly logo to remember their time with me. (Just joshing.) (Maybe.)
