If you’ve been following my adventures on Instagram (holla! @iolantherubyslipper – let’s be mates) you’ll know that we’re down on the Bellarine Peninsula this weekend covering the Queenscliff Music Festival. Proceedings kick off tonight with a healthy dose of The Screaming Jets, Darren Percival and more – I’m hoping the weather plays nice and that everyone enjoys their festival experience sans soggy jumpers. Team Ruby Slipper are being hosted by wonder-woman Sophie Bone at BIG4 Bellarine, where we’re writing up a storm from a sweet-as-pie cabin with all the fixins’ girls could need. Blissy.
One of the super modern loungerooms, accented in charcoal and grey. Team Ruby Slipper attest this couch is very good for cups of tea, brainstorming creative content and girly d&m’s. In addition to music and beachy walks this weekend, Elle magazine, Mean Girls, The Hunger Games and The Family Stone are on the agenda.
The only thing this sunny seaside cabin is missing is the John West fisherman.
With accents of Ruby, we’ll be sleeping soundly throughout the QMF event. Nicer than a tent, eh?
Surrounded by both native gardens, a small wetland pond and more kids activities than you could poke a Playstation at (think giant trampolines, flying foxes, movie room, BMX bike track etc….), you’re in for a good time with us this weekend at BIG4 Bellarine. Stay in touch, won’t you?
