Ruby Assembly @ AusiMed Art Auction VIP Preview

This week I was invited by my good friend and curator Vicki Finkelstein (of blog  The Finkelstein Files fame) to attend the AusiMed Art Auction VIP Preview Night, held at Lawson Menzies in South Yarra. Spanning over two storeys, the AusiMed Art Auction will be held this Sunday the 3rd of February at 3pm. An impressive array of collectable artists’ work is to be put under the hammer, with profits going towards Ausimed – a not-for-profit organisation which facilitates medical research collaborations between Australian and Israeli scientists. My favorite? This work by Rhys Lee.

The AusiMed Art Auction has something for all collectors – from a selection of two small (and affordable!) Blackman sketches to more substantial works. If you’ve not delved into art collection previously, this is an opportunity to ‘wet your beak’ and get involved in the fray at this Sunday’s Auction. Held at 1 Darling Street, South Yarra – 3pm. Going, going, gone!
