What better way for a girl to update her wardrobe than with a choice accessory or two? When the going gets tuff (and regular retail therapy is no longer an option for a short time), a quality bag, piece of jewellery or pair of snazzy shoes can make all the difference to your wardrobe. I was delighted to be invited to Pybus PR’s recent Accessories Preview – showcasing a range of Pybus clients to a select array of Melbourne bloggers. Located high above Swanston Street in Pybus HQ, we were treated to an array of beautiful Mansion SocieTEA High Tea treats, and a glimpse of the accessories to be seen in for winter. Here I am above with my favorite find of the day – a multi-colored tote from burgeoning label Constance Roe.

Kyra revealed the new collection from Ghost and Lola – all handmade using vintage components, the current collection is called ‘Mythologies’. This piece is perfect for the Snow Queen from Narnia. Can’t you imagine wearing it while taunting Edmund with Turkish Delight?

Kyra LOVES pets – particularly her beautiful bunny Bijou-Bijou. She’s discovered a new brand called Found My Animal – accessories for adopted animal and their people. Bright fluoro leads highlighted with brass hardware – spot fellow ‘found animal’ lovers on your local morning walk with pup. More news to come also on ‘animal pelt’ style towels (bottom right). Enjoy the campness of lying on a ‘pelt’ patterned with leopard or zebra – made entirely from soft egyptian cotton. For the Betty Pages of the beachside! You can find both of these items at Sole Devotion.

Sole Devotion’s winter wares impressed, with sturdy heels for the laneways of Melbourne in addition to bold color-blocked men’s brogues. Left: John Fluevog shoes in triple the goodness. Top right: golden moments from Constance Roe. Sole Devotion has a women’s outlet at 1 Degraves Street, and a fella’s emporium at 326 Little Collins Street.

A stunning display box of  crafted pieces by William Llewellyn Griffiths of Metal Couture – we wrote on the Royal Arcade opening of WLG’s second retail outlet here. Would one of these finely-wrought jewels be on your Valentine’s Day bauble wishlist?

I was impressed by new ‘discovery’ subscription service Letters from Letty. Each month, a special package arrives in the mail – you’ll know not what it contains – but rest assured the carefully-selected treaties within are on the cutting edge of moreish Australian design.
