A happy New Year to you, dear Ruby Assembly readers! I hope that you’re still on holidays and enjoying the beaches, rivers and countryside of Australia (or further afield, if that’s where you’re reading from). We are still away on break until the 14th of January, but have had a little time to share our coverage of newbie design house Queen Khan‘s launch in December with you. Designer Dominique Khan (above, with most Shakespearean scarab earring) invited a group of non-traditional media and supporters to a beautiful property in South Yarra to showcase her burgeoning label’s pieces. The premiere collection is called ‘The Jungle Book’ and features plentiful digital designs of tropical fruits and rare animals of the forest. Suffice to say, we look forward to styling a blog featuring Queen Khan designs early this year to share with you. For now, follow Queen Khan on Facebook by clicking here – their website is currently under development.
