L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival swung into full gear by the waterside at Docklands last night, with a block-style party launch to the anticipated David Jones Runway. Bright eyed and bushy-tailed, Melbournites flocked to the much-publicized launch for a serious dose of people-watching and fashionising. I was dressed by local Melbourne fashion label Leiela for the event in the ‘Tahni’ tunic.

The LMFF event keeps getting bigger each year, as you can see from the festival-like scenery above. There were fairy lights, performing artists, music performances and an array of venues to quaff drinkies in. The fashion and blogging community were out in full force looking like the birds of paradise they are – here I am with Lisa Teh of Couturing in a glittering confection of a Rachel Gilbert   gown and lucite headpiece.
