1. What makes your business magical, setting you apart from other competitors?

We offer ‘Sales with a Social Conscience’ where we are able to contribute to the housing crisis worldwide in a very real and tangible way whilst offering awesome service when buying or selling a property – check out our testimonials!

2. What are your maddest ‘ninja skillz’ at Habitat Property?

Being Property Sales Ninjaz!! We think that the property industry should be ethical, and that people should get better service.  We aim to be the best by providing the highest level of service available, and ensuring our customers become ‘Customers for Life’.  We are also very passionate about our core purpose – to improve housing for families on a global scale.

3. How did your lightbulb moment in creating your business come about?

I travelled extensively through China, Vietnam, Cambodia and India in 2009 and seeing firsthand the housing crisis overseas propelled me towards establishing a business where we are able to contribute and make a significant difference to the lives of these families.  We are so lucky to live in Australia and are in a most fortunate position where we are able to help.

4. What is your earliest memory?

Staying at my Nan’s place during the school holidays.  We used to collect lady-birds from the Hibiscus in the front yard.  She wasn’t impressed when they all escaped inside the house!

5. What would your last meal be?

Absolutely it would be steak from my favourite restaurant – the Morrison Hotel in Brisbane.

6. What is your best tip for recruiting staff or choosing business partners?

Trust your gut instinct.

7. What is your favourite sound?

I loved the silence of the monasteries I visited in Asia and Europe, such a complete sense of calm.

8. Who would you like to invite to dinner?

The Dalai Lama, Ghandi, Mark Leonard (Author), Stephen Hawking and my partner.

9. Who has inspired you to be a better ‘Business Ninja’?

You!!  Thank you for helping to make Habitat Property a success! (Aww, big blushes from Iolanthe at Ruby Slipper 🙂 )
