Ruby Report: REIV Young Agents New Financial Year Function

Quick to the blog as always, this little Ruby gives you the low down on the peeps and talent that featured at the REIV Young Agent’s New Financial Year Function.

Rocking up to Izzet Street Prahran on a wintery Melbourne’s night doesn’t sound much fun – but I was on a mission to celebrate the best of the REIV’s Young Agents. Held at the sparkling new Cullen Hotel at the Deck function room, this low-key event was high on networking (and imbibing a few drinks).

The winner of an REIV course to achieve an Agent’s License was battled out between 10 of Victoria’s best, coming from as far as Torquay for the night. Ultimately, the winner was Hayley Ball (property management) from Hayden RE in South Yarra.

Post award ceremony were a few items (weekend using a new Audi A5, CPD Courses for a Year, weekend at the Blackman Hotel) which were auctioned off by young agents including standout Zali Booker from Jellis Craig.

Inset: Shane Maletzki, Vicki Lekanis, Daniel Stocco

Lots of industry luminaries in the room, including Vicki Lekanis and Daniel Stocco from Caine RE, Olivia Triandos from APT and Mark Verrochi and John Karr from Nelson Alexander.

A great night for networking and it’s wonderful to see that the REIV and Enzo Raimondo are supporting the professional development of their future industry leaders.
